Professional side entry agitators

Side entry agitators are mounted to the side wall of the tank or alternatively placed on metal/concrete base. Depending on the specificity of the process, the agitator is inclined in vertical and/or horizontal axis. The inclination can be achieved through a properly designed connection nozzle, as well as through dedicated connection modules supplied with the agitator. This type of agitators is most often used in large diameter tanks such as absorbers at FGD installation and storage tanks.

  

Mechanical cut-off system developed by REDOR provides user-friendly replacement of the mechanical seal, even when the tank is full - without lowering the medium level below the agitator connection nozzle. This has been verified many times in real conditions, on tanks with a capacity of up to 100,000 m3.

REDOR agitators can be equipped with a module for automatic change of the working angle, allowing for accurate volume exchange in the entire tank using a smaller number of agitators.

Shaft seal: Component, single mechanical, double mechanical with barrier liquid installation, lip seal, gland packing seals
Agitator drive: Direct from the electric motor, gear transmission, belt transmission
Material inside the tank: Carbon steel, stainless steel, Nickel alloys (e.g., C-276 / C-22), stainless steel dedicated to the power industry (e.g., 926), titanium, rubber linings, PTFE coatings, other specialized coatings
Maximum total shaft length: 1300 mm (individual analysis for longer lengths)
Maximum impeller diameter: 1600 mm (individual analysis for larger diameters)
